This policy explains the information needed to handle your enquiry and how the Suchy Bór website works.
Data controller

Stay enquiries
The form sends your full name, email, optional phone number, arrival and departure dates, numbers of adults and children, and your message. We use this information to respond and take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Providing information is voluntary, but required fields are necessary to send an enquiry through the form. Please do not include sensitive information or children’s personal details in your message.
Website security
To protect the form from spam and misuse, we process a session identifier and a hash of the IP address, based on our legitimate interest in website security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The backend does not save enquiry messages to a database; they are sent to the controller’s email inbox. The hosting server may keep its own technical logs, including IP addresses and request times.
Cookies
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, so the consent mechanism is inactive and does not store any preferences. If an optional service requiring consent is enabled, its settings will be stored in localStorage (suchybor_consent) for 180 days. Our Cookie Policy in the footer explains the details. When you begin using the form or selecting dates, the server may set a necessary session cookie called suchybor_session to protect your submission. It lasts for the browser session; form tokens are valid for two hours.
Recipients
We use hosting infrastructure and email providers to operate the website and handle messages. Data is shared only as needed to provide these services or fulfil legal obligations. You may contact the controller for information about current providers and processing arrangements.
Retention
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and related arrangements and, where justified, to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical rate-limit records are cleared after 24 hours during a subsequent cleanup cycle. Contact the controller for details of correspondence retention.
Maps and external links
The directions link opens an external map service. If an OpenStreetMap map is available on this website, it loads only after you choose “Show map”. The provider then receives your IP address and the technical information needed to display it. External services have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, or another competent authority. We do not profile you or make decisions with legal effects solely by automated means.
